Oleksandr Melnychenko
First Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee — state commissioner. Graduated from Kyiv State University, named after T.H. Shevchenko. Lawyer. Used to work on the position of the people's judge of Zhovtnevyy district people's court of c. Kyiv, worked on the position of judge of Kyiv municipal court. Honoured lawyer of Ukraine. Beginning from December of 1993 he was designated on the position of the deputy Chairman – state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, from August of 2001 – first deputy of the Chairman – state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. Has higher agricultural education, graduated from the Main School of Agriculture in Warsaw. Chairman of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers and Chairman of Mazovecky agricultural chamber. Farmer, has 60 hectares of land oriented on production of milk and meat cattle. Since 1997, when NCAC was established, Mr Szmulewicz is a well known public and municipal figure.

Morgan Williams
President, US-Ukraine Business Council; Director (Governmental Affairs), SigmaBleyzer (Washington). Elected as Chairman of the USUBC Executive Committee in 2005 and as President in 2007. In 2008 appointed a member of the new Council of Investors's (COI) created by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. He became a consultant to SigmaBleyzer in 2001 and joined the company in 2004. SigmaBleyzer has been active in Ukraine since the early 1990's and manages around 1 billion dollars of investment in Ukraine. Williams started his work regarding Ukraine in 1992 as senior advisor to a major food system development project in Russia and Ukraine working with U.S. agribusinesses that were investing in the former Soviet Union.

Stephen Browne
Deputy Executive Director, Iternational Trade Centre (UNCTAD/WTO). With 29 years’ experience in the United Nations system, Mr. Browne directs operations at ITC with a mix of policy and field work skills. Trained as an international economist at the Universities of Cambridge and Paris, Mr Browne began his career as a consultant in London with the Economist Intelligence Unit. In 1976, he joined the United Nations as a researcher at the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. He then spent 21 years with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with assignments at headquarters in New York and in the field (including Ukraine). Mr. Browne has published five books on aid and development and about 100 articles on development topics.

Marie-Christine Ribera
Director, Commodities and Trade Department, Copa-Cogeca. Studied law and languages (English and Spanish) at the Paris Universities Assas and the Sorbonne. In 1989 she worked at the European Commission (DG Agriculture) as a trainee in the unit responsible for fraud and irregularities and then in the rural development unit. From 1993 to 1996, she was appointed legal adviser for the Director General of ONIC (French cereal board). Her responsibilities included the implementation at national level of the EU cereals common market organisation and policy as well as the implementation of the 1992 CAP reform for the arable crop sector. In 2008, she was made Director of Commodities and Trade, dealing with all commodity sectors, bilateral trade agreements, technology in agriculture and relations with the International Federation of Agricultural Producers.

Alastair Dickie
Director Crop Marketing at the HGCA (statutory body responsible for the cereal and oilseed industries in the UK). 1983 - 1986 Head of European and Asian Trading at Louis Dreyfus. In 1992 set up Commodity and Financial Management (UK) Ltd (Marketing and Pricing for agri-businesses in Europe and South Africa in grains and oilseeds). In 1998 appointed as Chairman of the new HGCA Market Information Committee. His department is responsible for the provision of market information and training, market development of cereals and oilseeds at home and the promotion of exports. British Cereal Exports (BCE) is part of his Department. In 2002, he became involved with the infant biofuels industry and has subsequently been involved with the Treasury, DfT and defra with regard to industry needs from government.

Iryna Melnyk
Deputy Chairman, NGO "All-Ukrainian Union of Meat Producers "Ukrmeatproduct". In 2001 graduated from Prikarpatskiy University. Started her professional career as an accountant in «KGD» company. From 2002 appointed as accountant of «Prykarpatska Financial Corporation». During 2004-2005 worked in OJSC «Ivano-Frankivsk Meat Factory» as chief accountant, later apointed as financial director and acting of chairman.
